On 4th July 2021, Doaba College Jalandhar organized Reunion-2021 through online mode due to Covid-19 restrictions. Sh. Chander Mohan Ji, President Arya Siksha Mandal and Doaba College Managing Committee graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Sh. Sh. Alok Sondhi, Genernal Secretary Arya Siksha Mandal and Doaba College Managing committee, Sh. Harish Gupta, Mmember Doaba College Managing Committee were the Guests of Honour. The event was attended by many dignitaries and alumni of the college spread over many academic sessions like Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Mr. Rajiv Rai, MD, AR International Holding Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sushil Kohli, Dhayan Chand Awardee, S. Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, a renowned Bollywood actor, Dr. Ashok Goyal, Professor Government Medical College Amritsar, Dr. Kapil Gupta, Kapil Hospital Jalandhar and S. Avtar Singh, NSS national awardee and many more.

On 22nd October 2021, Alumni Association of the college in collaboration with AR Holdings UK & Swami Vivekanand Yoga Anusandhan Samsthana (S-VYASA) Yoga University Banglore organized an online webinar on “Yoga – A Career in Cure & Preventive Medicine”. Dr. N.K. Manjunath (Pro Vice Chancellor S-VYASA University, Banglore) and Sh. Manoj Thakur (MD, Vyasa Yoga, Singapur) were the resource persons.

On 12th March 2022, Alumni Meet was organized for teachers working in various educational institutions in which about 60 principals and teachers from various educational institutions participated. Sh. Harish Gupta, an alumnus of the college and member Doaba College Managing Committee was the Chief Guest of the event. Many alumni of the college namely Professor M.C. Sidhu, Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Sh. Sukhdev Lal Babbar, Principal Government Senior Secondary school, Alampur Bakka, Sh. Gulshan Kumar, Lecturer, Government School Ladhewali, Sh. Pawan Kapil, Lecturer, LR Doba Senior Secondary School, Sh. Jasveer Singh, Principal, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Loraya, Ms. Sunita Rani, Lecturer, Government Senior Secondary Schools, Khambra recalled their days spent in this college.

Another milestone that was achieved by the GEMS DCJ Alumni Association was Launching of its website (https://doabacollegealumni.com/) on 12th March 2022. This website was designed by Sh. Rajiv Rai, Founder and Managing Director, AR International Holdings Pvt. Ltd., UK, who is also a proud alumnus of the college. This website was launched by Sh. Harish Gupta, member Doaba College Managing Committee, Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari and Professor M.C. Sidhu, Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

65th Convocation

On 20th September 2022, Doaba College Jalandhar organized its 65th convocation at Virendra Auditorium. Sh. Anurag Thakur, an illustrious alumnus of the college and Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Sports & Youth Affairs was the Chief Guest of the event and he awarded degrees to nearly 552 students of Doaba College.

Seminar on Wealth Creation Through Stock Market

The GEMS DCJ Alumni Association of Doaba College, Jalandhar organized a seminar on the topic “Wealth Creation Through Stock Market” on March 13, 2023. S. Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, an alumnus of the college and Managing Director of Sachdeva Stocks Pvt. Ltd. , Member BSE and NSE was the resource person. S. Paramjit Singh Sachdeva shared the memories of his student life at Doaba college and motivated the students to progress by hard work and learn lessons from the challenges in life. He shared his life journey and his experiences of stock market where, despite falling thrice, he remained persistent in his efforts in the small town of Hoshiarpur. He also gave a presentation on how to create wealth in the Stock market and explained its meaning, why and how to invest in it.

66th Convocation

66th Convocation

On 18th March 2023, the 66th Annual Convocation of Doaba College was organized in Virendra Auditorium. Major General Anurag Chibber, VSM, an alumnus of the college, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Sh. Chander Mohan, President, Arya Siksha Mandal and Doaba College Managing Committee. The Chief Guest Sh. Anurag Chibber, Sh. Alok Sondhi, Dr. Sushma Chawla and Principal Dr. Pardeep Bahndari presented medals to university toppers and degrees to a total of 357 students of the session 2020-21 and 2021-22.

Seminar on Banking as a Career

On 13th October 2023, GEMS DCJ Alumni Association and PG Department of Economics organized an Extension Lecture on the topic 'Banking as a Career' on October 13, 2023. Mr. Aman Babbar, a proud alumnus of the college, was the resource person. Mr. Aman Babbar, presently working as Cluster Head for Punjab & Haryana regions, RBL Bank, guided students about the various career options available in banking sector in India.

REUNION 2023

The GEMS DCJ Alumni Association (Regd.) organized an Alumni Meet at College House on 9th December 2023, attended by around 150 alumni from various streams. The event was graced by Chief Guest Padma Shri Vijay Chopra.
In his welcome address, Dr. Bhandari described Doaba College as a family whose happiness is incomplete without its alumni. He highlighted the college’s achievements in academics and sports during the past year. Alumni members, including Shri Sukhdev Lal Babbar and Prof. Devansh Bhaskar, fondly recalled their college days and shared memorable experiences. A presentation on the life journey of alumnus Lord Swraj Paul was also screened.
Several distinguished alumni who could not attend, including Lord Swraj Paul, Col. Bhupinder Rai and Group Captain Pawan Nagal, sent recorded video messages. Notable alumni were honoured by President Shri Chander Mohan and Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari. Dr. Suresh Mago presented a report on the association’s activities since 2021. Sh. Chander Mohan showed his gratitude towards Padma Shri Vijay Chopra. He recalled the days when Sh. Vijay took charge of Hind Samachar. President Sh. Chander Mohan also adored the confidence of current students of the college
Addressing the gathering, Padma Shri Vijay Chopra shared his experiences during Partition and emphasized the values of truthfulness and respect for parents. The event concluded with a vibrant Bhangra performance, followed by a vote of thanks from Dr. Avinash Chander.

Interactive Session with Lord Swarj Paul on the topic Value of Education in Life

The GEMS DCJ Alumni Association, Doaba College, Jalandhar, organized an interactive session on “Value of Education in Life” on January 31, 2024. The resource person was distinguished alumnus Lord Swraj Paul, who was warmly welcomed by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Avinash Bawa, Dr. Suresh Mago, Prof. Naveen Joshi, faculty members, and students.
In his welcome address, Dr. Pardeep Bhandari highlighted Lord Swraj Paul’s remarkable achievements and referred to his book Beyond Life. Addressing the students, Lord Swraj Paul recalled his days at Doaba College and emphasized the transformative role of education in shaping his journey from student to global business leader. He shared insights from his experiences at Doaba College, MIT and Harvard, stressing the importance of lifelong learning, hard work and dedication. He also discussed his industrial ventures in India and encouraged students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical learning. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Avinash Bawa, while Prof. Priya Chopra conducted the proceedings.

Inauguration of College canteen Lady Aruna Paul Student Recreation Centre

On 23 July 2024, the College Cafeteria, “Lady Aruna Paul Student Recreation Centre – DCJ Delight,” was inaugurated by Sh. Chander Mohan Ji, President of Arya Shiksha Mandal and the Doaba College Managing Committee, along with Rt. Hon. Lord Swaraj Paul, P.C., Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton, UK and a proud alumnus of Doaba College. As Lord Swaraj Paul was in the UK at the time, he joined the inauguration ceremony virtually. He generously donated ₹20 lakh towards the construction of the college cafeteria in the cherished memory of his beloved wife, Lady Aruna Paul. This contribution reflects his enduring affection for her memory as well as his continued support and commitment to the growth and development of his alma mater, Doaba College.

Doaba College, Jalandhar, hosted its Alumni Meet Reunion 2024, bringing together distinguished alumni, faculty members and guests. The event was graced by Chief Guest Sh. Manoranjan Kalia, former Cabinet Minister of Punjab and Guest of Honour S. Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, renowned actor and comedian. Principal Dr. Bhandari in his welcome address highlighted the college’s commitment to academic excellence and student development. He also acknowledged the contribution of illustrious alumnus Lord Swraj Paul, who donated Rs. 20 lakh for the construction of the Lady Aruna Paul Students Recreation Centre and joined the reunion online.
President Sh. Chander Mohan praised the achievements of alumni and emphasized the role of teachers in nurturing talent. Chief Guest Sh. Manoranjan Kalia lauded the college’s rich legacy and its contribution to value-based education. S. Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi and Sh. Balwinder Bicky shared fond memories of their college days. Dr. Suresh Mago presented the Alumni Association’s annual report, while several alumni shared nostalgic experiences. The event also featured cultural performances and the presentation of DCJ Alumni Achievement Awards to distinguished alumni. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Avinash Chander, followed by the National Anthem.
